The Event
The Bridgewater Battle of the Bands will take place at The Launch (80 Spring St.), bringing together music lovers, local bands, and the community for an unforgettable in-person experience. Bands from across the area will compete on stage, delivering everything from heart-pounding rock anthems to soulful ballads. The stakes are high, as the winning band will earn the coveted opportunity to headline Music Alley’s 2025 lineup.
A Partnership for Music and Community
This event is made possible through the collaboration of the Fire For Effect Foundation and Music Alley, with the support of Friends of Music Alley (FoMA). Music Alley is a cornerstone of Bridgewater’s cultural scene, and FoMA plays a vital role in its success.
Vision of Friends of Music Alley:
FoMA is dedicated to enhancing the vibrancy of Bridgewater by providing a space and resources for live entertainment, contributing to the town’s goal of becoming a Massachusetts Cultural Center.
Mission of Friends of Music Alley:
FoMA exists to make free, high-quality live music accessible to Bridgewater and surrounding communities. Working in partnership with the Town of Bridgewater, which owns and maintains Music Alley’s infrastructure (including the stage, arch, pavers, and other hardware), FoMA serves as the fundraising and administrative arm. They handle everything from scheduling and paying performers to promoting events, organizing food vendors, and addressing non-infrastructure needs.
By teaming up with the Fire For Effect Foundation, which is known for its dedication to supporting veterans, first responders and their families, this event not only celebrates music but also strengthens the community and supports meaningful causes.
A Day of Music and More
The Bridgewater Battle of the Bands is more than just a competition—it’s a celebration of local talent and community spirit. With the added support of Black Hat Brew Works, attendees can expect a day filled with great music, delicious food, and a vibrant atmosphere. The Gonzalez Food Truck will also be on-site, serving up mouthwatering dishes to keep everyone fueled for the day’s festivities as we put a spin on our version on Cinco Da Mayo.
