What to Expect at the Brew Fest

This year’s Brew Fest will showcase 20–25 South Shore breweries, live music, and a lineup of the region’s best food trucks. Most importantly, proceeds will benefit the Fire For Effect Foundation. This foundation supports veterans and first responders through direct assistance and creates local programs to address mental health and well-being.

The Brew Fest has always been about more than pouring beer,” said Paul Mulcahy, owner of Black Hat Brew Works and one of the festival founders. “When you buy a ticket, you’re not just getting an afternoon of great breweries and food trucks—you’re helping a foundation that gives back directly to those who’ve served and sacrificed for us.

The Growth of the Brew Fest

Launched in 2016 with just eight breweries, the South Shore Farmer Brew Fest has grown alongside the booming local craft beer scene. Now home to more than 28 breweries, the South Shore is one of the fastest-growing beer regions in Massachusetts.

This year’s location at Town River Landing (The Launch) ties into Bridgewater’s revitalization project. The goal is to transform the Landing into a community hub along the river. “It’s the perfect spot to celebrate community, music, and beer,” Mulcahy added.
